Windsurfing took off in Thailand as early as in the 70's due to the local production of light sandwich boards. Jomtien Beach is Thailand's No.1 centre for windsurfing especially from October to June when ideal water and wind conditions prevail. The Pattaya Windsurfing Club on Jomtien Beach regularly stages competitions.
There's no need to bring your own windsurfing gear because no matter what level you're at, you will surely find equipment to suit your skills.
When your skills improve, the wind conditions change, or if you just want to go rip it up with some new gear, Surf Shop is providing a wide range of major kitesurfing and windsurfing brand names for you to choose from.
Tuition is widely available for beginners, so anyone can try.
