Trip Summary

A value tour of the top sights in Thailand, explore with your private guide, driver and vehicle. Bangkok is considered to be one of the world's top tourist hotspots. According to Travel and Leisure magazine it is Asia's best tourist destination. The city boasts some of the country's most visited historical venues such as the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun.

Erawan National Park is a unique and rugged landscape of high elevation plateaux and steep valleys covering an area of 550 square kilometres and located three hours drive west of Bangkok. Erawan's forests support an amazing array of plants and a diverse range of wildlife, from minute brilliantly coloured insects to the mighty Asian elephant.

This jungle safari provides an adventurous and stimulating insight into the forests and wildlife of western Thailand. We make your trip into the backcountry comfortable and exciting by providing just the right mix of adrenaline, nature interpretation, and more than a few creature comforts. Spend the night deep in the forest in our deluxe tented camp with large comfortable sleeping tents, large dining tent with mosquito net, hot shower, freshly prepared Thai dishes and cold drinks. Erawan National Park is a unique and rugged landscape of high elevation plateaux and steep valleys located three hours drive from Bangkok. Erawan’s forests support an amazing array of plants and a diverse range of wildlife, from minute brilliantly coloured insects to tigers and the mighty Asian elephant. Although they are there, getting to see large mammals such as wild elephants and tigers is difficult so, although we strive to maximize the likelihood of a sightings, we also emphasise the importance of using good “ecological detective work” to reveal the secrets of the forest. Possible wildlife sightings include primates (macaques and gibbon), civets, slow loris, hornbills and a range of other bird life. We will see some of the forests edible plants and take a night walk to investigate the myriad of insects and other creatures that emerge after dark. The diversity of life forms is awesome and each trip proves unique in terms of what we may encounter.
